Jagdeep Singh Sandhu was born in Khera Dona, Kapurthala, Punjab.

He grew up helping with agriculture while attending school and developed a strong passion for sports, excelling in athletics and football, often serving as captain at school and district levels.

He worked for several companies in India before coming to England in 1985, sponsored by his sisters. In England, he settled in Swindon and Bristol, where he ran a bakery, led teams, and did marketing. Despite limited English, he adapted quickly, earned respect at work, and integrated into the supportive local community.
